Unbuilt
The L House Project began as a marketing tool for a development while Josh was working for
Frederick Phillips and Associates.
Initially developed as a spec home, the project evolved into an exercise in creating
a house within certain constraints including cost, height and square footage
restrictions, as well as programmatic requirements. The house was a way for
clients to envision a modern design within the same guidelines that were being used
to produce architecture reminiscent of rural and farm type buildings.
The three bedroom, 2-1/2 bathroom home includes a large master suite, a two-car
garage, a large screened porch, and a plan that is open to the outdoors.
The house was designed to be around 2500 square feet.
