Josh Pincus grew up in Haverford, Pennsylvania where he attended Haverford Senior
High School. Josh earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in American Studies from Cornell
University where he also played varsity soccer. After graduating Cornell, Josh
returned to Philadelphia for his Master of Architecture degree from the University
of Pennsylvania where he won several honors including the Dales Portfolio Competition
and first prize in the John Stewardson Memorial Competition. While studying in
Philadelphia, Josh gained experience working for Atkin Olshin Lawson-Bell and had
the opportunity to participate in an intensive study abroad program in Japan.
Josh moved to Chicago in 2002 and has worked for firms concentrating in both residential
and commercial architecture on various scales. Projects have included the Museum of
Broadcast Communication in Chicago for Eckenhoff Saunders Architects as well as the
management of multiple residential projects while working for Frederick Phillips and
Associates. Josh and Claudia were married here in Chicago in 2004.
